Sets up official visit

The Huskers haven't had an official visitor this year, but that is pretty typical. They usually do not host players the first weekend for official visits, regardless of game time, and the second game against Idaho was an 11:00 start time making it tough to make it in. There are also bigger games to come in and see like Texas. This Florida DB is now confirmed to be coming in that weekend.

There is another name to add to the official visitor list for the weekend of October 16th for Nebraska. The name that can be added for that weekend is Johnathan Aiken. Aiken, a 5-foot-11 and 183-pound defensive back from Hollywood (Flor.) Chaminade Madonna College Prep, will be visiting that weekend.

"I know that Johnathan has a visit set up for Nebraska," Coach Bruce Ruffin said. "I do know that it's the weekend of the Texas game for Nebraska.

"I know that he's excited about what Nebraska is doing with their defense and what Bo Pelini is doing at Nebraska. I think that Johnathan is a perfect fit for the scheme that they are doing in Lincoln."

Coach Ruffin was unaware of an official visit to Nebraska for Curt Evans, but said that he was going to see about that and get back to Big Red Report about him at a later date. As a junior Aiken registered 95 tackles and blocked six kicks. He was first team all-Broward County DB by the Miami Herald.
