"We are doing good," Johnson said. "We are 2-0 and I am doing pretty good. I am working a lot of double and triple teams. I am trying to get pressure to flush the quarterback out of the pocket.
"I am playing the one technique and they are triple teaming me in our odd man front. Then they put both guards and the center on me. We are using our linebackers then on the blitz."
Johnson has been getting double and triple teamed, but still he is making an impact on the field. "I have nine tackles, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. I am only playing defense and no offense."
Johnson will be getting out to make some trips starting later next month, but that's depending on the start time of that game. He has another set up in December to head out west.
"I have some official visits set up. I am planning on going to Nebraska for the Missouri game. Then again, that might have to wait until after the season. I have a game that week and that will make it tough to get there.
"If the game for Nebraska against Missouri is at night then I can travel in the morning and that would be easy. I would have considered Texas, but my dad is in the Merchant Marines and he doesn't get back until late October. He wants me to wait for him.
"I also have a visit set up for UCLA when they play USC on December 4th. Besides Nebraska and UCLA, I really haven't decided on the last three. I am thinking about Alabama, Oregon, Florida State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State and Michigan."
One team that would be on Johnson's list of favorites, but not on his official visit list is LSU. "I won't take an official visit to LSU. LSU is just 55 minutes away when it comes to driving so I am not going to burn an official visit to go to LSU."
