The 6-3, 215-pound prospect grew up a fan of USC, and with their recent offer, the Trojans immediately jumped into the top three.
"Coach Kiffin offered me. He called me and told me that they wanted me," Wilson said. "He said that they need my speed from the end and they like how I am playing this year.
"It was a dream come true because they have always been my dream school since I was a young kid. They were like my favorite team and everything."
So what stands out about the Trojans?
"The tradition that they have," he said. "It's USC!"
Wilson has already visited Arizona and Nebraska and said he will likely take an official visit to USC when his high school season is finished.
Arizona was one of the first schools to show interest in the three-star defensive end and he has built a strong relationship with the coaching staff.
"They were like one of the first schools to offer me and they have been recruiting me real hard the whole time," said Wilson, who is being recruited by Arizona assistant coach Tim Kish. "I had a good time when I went out there and they beat Cal. I got to see the campus and meet the players and coaches and everything.
"The coaches out there seem really genuine and they care about their players."
This past weekend, Wilson took an official visit to Nebraska, and despite the Cornhuskers 20-13 loss to Texas, the trip was still a success.
"The environment was wild up there. The fans are crazy and they love their football," he said. "I got to walk out on the field with fans screaming and yelling. I felt like I was on the team."
With plenty of options to choose from, Wilson said he is looking for a school with strong academics and a chance for early playing time.
