"It's just so amazing," Turner said. "It's a great commit for Nebraska and it's crazy that he's going to be part of the class. I just saw him at the Texas game and I wasn't sure if Nebraska was going to get him or not. I'm really excited."
Of course a little overshadowed now by Green's commitment is Taariq Allen pulling the trigger on his commitment 48 hours ago to Nebraska. Turner already knows Allen too.
"It's going to be a great class. Of course there's Aaron and Nebraska just got Taariq Allen. He was my room mate this summer at Nebraska's summer camp and he said this summer that he wanted to go to Nebraska. It's great he's part of the class."
If there is one thing that Turner won't end until he gets to Lincoln in January is the persistence of other schools to try and get him to consider their school. Turner says that he's still a firm commitment to Nebraska though.
"Some teams just continue to call me to pressure me about re-thinking my decision. They are just convinced that I won't go to Nebraska I guess. They just keep telling me that Taylor Martinez is there and he's just a red shirt freshman.
"I just lock it all out and don't listen to them. I'm committed to Nebraska. The class that the coaches are putting together is crazy. I get along with all of them so well already. It's going to be cool when I get up to school."
