Tough decision coming

There were four players from Klein (Texas) Collins in Lincoln this past weekend. One of them was 2011 prospect, Charles Jackson. Jackson is widely regarded as one of the top cornerbacks in the nation and on his way back to Houston he sent some text messages to Big Red Report about the experience in Lincoln. You can say that he was impressed.

There were only two, 2011 prospects that were officially visiting this weekend at Nebraska that weren't committed to the Huskers. One of those players was Charles Jackson from Klein (Texas) Collins.

Jackson sent many text messaged back and forth with Big Red Report throughout the day talking about his visit to Lincoln. Jackson and David Santos, Nebraska commitment, drove up from Houston and were on their way back.

"I really enjoyed my time in Lincoln and talking with Coach Ekeler," Jackson said. "He has an amazing personality."

"We got to meet all of the coaches and each and every coach has something unique personality wise about them. Meeting Tom Osborne was something totally unexpected for me and my family and that was special about the weekend."

The text messages from Jackson ended there, but Ahmard Vital from caught up briefly with Jackson's father when they were stopping for gas.

"Lincoln is nice. The lifestyle and facilities were very nice. Charles will most likely make his decision later this week; it's a tough one."

If Jackson joins the class for 2011 he will be joining his Klein (Texas) Collins team mate, Santos, who has been committed to Nebraska since the end of July. Santos' brother, Ryan Santos, was also in town this past weekend. The word is that Shane Rhoades who is a running back/wide receiver from Collins was also in town this weekend.
