Ka'ai ready to trim his list

Recruiting is in full-swing for Koa Ka'ai and he is being recruited by some of the top programs in the nation. He has already taken official visits to Oregon and Nebraska and is holding offers from the like of Oklahoma, Arizona, California, Stanford, USC and Washington. He's in the process of trimming his list.

Teams are going to be finding out over the next few days if they made or didn't make the list of final six teams for Koa Ka'ai. Ka'ai told Big Red Report in a text message today that he's contacting schools.

"I just wanted to let you know that I have narrowed my school choice down to a top six," Ka'ai said in a text message. "I am in the process of letting coaches know my decision and once I am finished with that I will let you know the list."

Ka'ai is being respectful to the many coaches who have spent the time to recruit him and get to know him personally by reaching out to tell them personally of his decision to trim his list. It's going to take a little time to get a hold of all the coaches.

While Ka'ai was at home this weekend he was able to get TV coverage of Nebraska taking on Missouri. Ka'ai came away impressed with the Husker performance.

"Yes I did watch Nebraska against Missouri. The whole game was awesome. They looked really good and Roy Helu killed it!"

Husker fans will have to wait a few days to see if they made the cut for Ka'ai. Stay tuned to Big Red Report for the latest on Ka'ai and other recruiting news.
