"It was a very long day coming home yesterday," Ryan Santos said. "It's been the worst part of the trip easily for me, but I did sleep most of the way back so it wasn't that bad."
Ryan was actually up in Nebraska earlier this year when his brother made his unofficial visit. This was Ryan's first chance to see Nebraska play in person though.
"This was my second trip to Nebraska. I was up with David in July when we visited this summer. This was my first game though.
"I haven't ever been to a game like that before, the fans were just going crazy. It was something else. The tunnel walk was pretty crazy.
Besides Santos, Santos and Jackson there was a fourth players from Collins that was in town this weekend. Their wide receiver, who scored six touchdowns in one game this season and is a 2012 recruit, was in town as well.
"There were actually four of there from Klein (Texas) Collins this weekend. There was my brother, Charles, me and our slot receiver, Shane Rhoades."
Other than seeing the game there wasn't a lot that Ryan got to experience this weekend that he hadn't done before. There was one thing though that he said that he enjoyed doing after the game.
"We watched film with the team this weekend and that was one thing that we didn't get to do with the team this summer. It was a great trip. I would say that the trip for me was a "10"."
Ryan is still waiting on word from Nebraska on whether or not he will get an offer. It's early and Ryan just left Nebraska with his highlight reel through eight games this season.
"I don't have an offer yet, but they said that I have a lot of talent and they are keeping an eye on me. I don't have any offers as of right now, but I just left Nebraska my highlight film."
Collins is having an amazing season, under Head Coach Drew Svoboda, and they wrapped up a district championship this past Thursday night. "We're 9-0 and district champs. It's been a real good season, but we can't let up and need to keep on playing hard into the playoffs."
