Huskers back at it for Aggies

Check out some quick practice notes along with audio as Nebraska Head Coach Bo Pelini talks about his team, but also addresses again his impressions of the fans for last Saturday's game against KU. Bo didn't hesitate when asked again just what he thought of the overall atmosphere of the game, saying "I thought it was dead."

As some have noticed in last night's airing of the Bo Pelini show, Bo voiced his displeasure about the atmosphere in Memorial Stadium when the Huskers hosted Kansas. After having a day to perhaps reflect on those statements, the Head Coach reiterated what he saw during that game.

And simply, what he saw or in this case, heard, wasn't much at all. "I thought it was dead. I thought it was disappointing," he said. "Felt like I was at a scrimmage."

When asked to explain why that was, Bo didn't have an answer. "I don't know. You guys would know better than I would," Pelini said pointing to us in the media as those who might know better than he would about the dynamic of a sleeping fan base. "Maybe they expect...," he began, but concluded saying, "I don't know what the deal is."

In other news the Huskers are healthy again today, and quarterback Taylor Martinez went a full practice, according to the Head Coach. And as to the move of sophomore Eric Martin from linebacker to defensive end, Pelini said that it's a good move for him and the team. "We're getting him prepared. He could get in there, especially on third down," he said. "He's powerful. He has burst. He can do a lot of different things for us. He's a talented guy."
