Nothing changes

One interesting recruiting story for Husker fans to pay attention to is that of Max Pirman. Fearful of a the coaching staff changing at Indiana he decommitted from the Hoosiers and committed to the Huskers. Now, IU has named a new coach. Could it be just a matter of time before IU is knocking on his door again and should Nebraska be concerned?

In-home visits are underway for Nebraska commitments and other recruits and weather has effected the visit by Nebraska to Max Pirman. Pirman, from Orrville (Ind.), said bad weather caused Nebraska to leave early the day they were in town.

"Coach John Papuchis was here at my school," Pirman said. "But, because of weather he had to leave early. He will be coming back some time next week."

Pirman recently changed his commitment from Indiana to Nebraska following an official visit to Lincoln. Pirman didn't want to get caught up in a coaching staff change at IU, which is what happened, and now IU has a new coach.

"Indiana hasn't contacted me since getting a new coach. The new coach didn't really do anything for me to reconsider them again."

Max said that he would contact Big Red Report next week on the day that Coach John Papuchis was in town and let us know when he could talk about the visit.
