Moore's 11 assists tied her previous career high, while her 10 rebounds - all defensive - were also a career best and doubled her previous season-best total. She also tied her career high with four steals against Florida A&M to help the Huskers close non-conference action with their 10th victory of the season.
Moore, who earned a spot on the Big 12 All-Freshman Team after becoming the first freshman point guard in NCAA history to lead her team to an unbeaten regular season in 2009-10, averaged 14.0 points, 10.0 assists, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals in Nebraska's wins over South Florida and Florida A&M last week.
She hit 52.9 percent (9-17) of her shots from the field, including 55.6 percent (5-9) of her three-point attempts. For the season, Moore is averaging 10.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and ranks among the top five players in the Big 12 with 5.7 assists per contest.
Moore became the third Husker individual to be honored by the Big 12 so far this season, joining senior guard Dominique Kelley (Player of the Week, Nov. 22) and freshman forward Jordan Hooper (Freshman of the Week, Nov. 15, Nov. 29).
Moore and the Huskers open Big 12 Conference action on Saturday, Jan. 8, when they take on Oklahoma. Tip-off between the Huskers and Sooners is set for 2:05 p.m. as the first game of a men's and women's basketball doubleheader at the Devaney Center. The NU men will face Iowa State on Saturday at 7 p.m.
