It's getting to be that time of year and Arrington Jenkins wants to keep it as simple as it is now. Jenkins was supposed to make a trip to see Nebraska on the heels of a visit to see Illinois. He didn't make that trip by his choice. That decision proves costly to the Cornhuskers who now are out of the Arrington Jenkins sweepstakes.
Many believe that the recruiting process would be the best part of these young mens' lives and while it may very well be it does come with a good deal of stress. Arrington Jenkins
has made the decision to simplify a very difficult decision.
"I have narrowed it down to two," Jenkins said. "I am down to Illinois and Florida State and that's it. I have been talking to the coaches about it today."
Jenkins had scheduled a visit to see Nebraska on Sunday and Monday this week after seeing Illinois but he's deciding against that visit. Jenkins said he really wants to consider the teams that have been with him through the process.
"That was my choice not to go to Nebraska. I really want to consider the teams that have been there with me longer. I didn't want to complicate things and throw that last visit in there."
Jenkins has taken four visits. Along with seeing Florida State and Illinois Jenkins also went to see West Virginia and Minnesota. Jenkins was also considering interest from Miami.
