"My last in-home visits were Monday and Wednesday," Virgile said. "I met with Coach David from North Carolina and a couple of assistant coaches on Monday. I met with Bo Pelini from Nebraska on Wednesday."
UNC and Nebraska are the final two for Virgile. Each team has its own share of good qualities. Virgile said that one thing that is the same about both is feeling safe at either school.
"Those are my top two. Those are the last two teams that I am considering. I liked my visit to North Carolina because it's a different neighborhood than what I am living in now. It's a little safer.
"I liked Nebraska. I felt good there. I felt safe there. The distance and the weather will have nothing to do with my decision. I am just going to choose the best fit for me."
The decision will take all the way up until Virgile puts pen to paper. Virgile plans on making his announcement and then signing with that team.
"I will make my decision on Wednesday morning at 7:30. That will be my announcement and then I will sign with the school that I choose right afterward."
In the end the last things that Virgile is thinking about is if he fits in with everything at the school. The best fit will win out.
"The last things that I am thinking about are really where I fit in the best. I want to be able to fit in at the school, with the team and in the town."
When it comes to fit there is one person that might have helped out on the official visit to Nebraska. Virgile was able to sit down with a current player at Nebraska who knows something about where Virgile is from.
"I spoke to Lavonte David when I was up there. He told me it was a good fit up there. He said that he's made it, he was homesick, but you have to get over that no matter what."
