Fresh off a MVP performance at the Next Level Athlete Showcase in Dallas, Allen HS (TX) linebacker Thaddeus LaGrone is seeing his recruitment heat up, hearing from two new schools this week.

"Both Nebraska and Boise State sent me letters this week," said LaGrone. "I have also set up visits to Kansas with my quarterback Alec Morris on April 30th and to Baylor's spring game with my former teammate Jonathan Lee (Baylor 2010 signee)."

At 6-foot-2 and 215 pounds, LaGrone had 87 tackles, nine tackles for loss, five sacks, three interceptions, and six pass breakups as a junior.

"This was the first time I heard from Nebraska. I have liked them ever since I was a kid. I saw a picture of their stadium and it was really nice," said LaGrone. "The letter told me they were recruiting me and wanted to see my transcripts.

"The Boise State one was a hand written letter telling me they were recruiting me and that they wanted me to keep working hard. I like Boise a lot. They have nice facilities and one of my friends is going there. He said their coaching staff is great."

With the additions of Nebraska and Boise State, LaGrone is hearing from Texas, TCU, Baylor, Oklahoma, Iowa, Ole Miss, Houston, Baylor, and SMU.
