VIDEO - Kai Wolfe

Kai Wolfe passes the eye ball test, but as many people know that doesn't mean a lot anymore. Some of the best players don't have the facade that you might expect so you have to look deeper. When you see Wolfe and see his film, particularly on defense, you see a player. And when you know the needs along the defensive line for Nebraska you wonder if Wolfe could pull an offer?

Kai Wolfe has the size to play DI ball. At 6-foot-4 and 310-pounds he could play either offense or defense. Wolfe was a standout offensive and defensive lineman for Alma (Nebr.) this past season as a junior.

As you can see by the video, Wolfe is violent. On offense you can see why Alma liked to hammer the ball inside with Wolfe leading the way at center. And on defense a guy that big sometimes just occupies blockers and takes up space. Wolfe though is active and moves extremely well for a big man.

There are plenty of questions coming into the 2012 recruiting class for the in-state crop of Nebraska recruits like who might get an offer. The odd on favorite is likely Mike Shoff, but as you will see from the video below don't count out Wolfe getting a DI offer from someone.
