Make it seven for Darboh

There is give and take in recruiting. Sometimes scheduling just doesn't permit for things to happen and at other times it seems that it just happens to work out. So for Amara Darboh the first two junior days seemed to work out, but nothing else has so far. Still, recruiting is taking off for the wide receiver that is now up to seven offers.

West Des Moines (Iowa) Dowling wide receiver Amara Darboh is one of the fastest rising players in the Midwest. Darboh, 6-foot-2 and 200-pounds, has been to two junior days, but the success on the basketball court has limited him beyond that.

"I did go to the junior days in Iowa and Iowa State," Darboh said. "It's been tough with basketball to get to all of the junior days I was invited to."

Nebraska is one of the junior days that he had to miss because of basketball and it's interesting times in Lincoln. The position coach that Darboh was familiar with is gone, but Nebraska has stayed in contact as best they can through the changes.

"I haven't had a chance to talk to talk to Nebraska personally since the changes, but I know that they have spoken with my coach. The coaches from Nebraska were here for one of my basketball practices."

Darboh is now holding a Nebraska offer which makes seven total offers for him. "I have a Nebraska offer. That offer makes seven. I have offers from Kansas State, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Iowa, Iowa State and Wisconsin."
