Dzuris to see KSU

There is already one player from the state of Nebraska, Tay Bender, to commit to Kansas State and one of the faster rising players from the state of Nebraska is DE/TE Ross Dzuris from Plattsmouth (Nebr.). Dzuris is set to attend the Kansas State spring game this weekend.

Ross Dzuris wil be busy on the road over the next couple of months. The 6-foot-3 and 235-pound defensive end from Plattsmouth (Nebr.) with 4.65/40-speed will be in Manhattan, Kans. this weekend.

"I am going to the spring game at Kansas State this weekend," Dzuris said. "I really want to find out more about the school and the area since I have never been there before.

"I am looking forward to seeing their weight room and some of their other facilities. I would like to talk to Coach Bill Snyder and the other position coaches too. I would like to get to know them a little bit more."

Kansas State along with four other schools seem to be showing Dzuris the most interest right now. He is focusing on getting to know the coaches at the school as well as taking a look at the facilities.

"I would say Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Wyoming and Kansas State are recruiting me the hardest. I am looking at the coaches at the school I choose. I want to be around a good coaching staff and I am also looking at the facilities too."

There is a bit of a split on where teams see him playing at the next level. Some like him as a tight end and others as a defensive end. Deep down Dzuris thinks that he's a better fit on defense.

"Some schools like Kansas like me as a tight end and Nebraska likes me as a defensive end. I am not really leaning one way or another when it comes that though.

"If I had to choose based on me feeling most comfortable it would be defensive end. It's a position where you get to chase more, be more aggressive and defense is overall just more free."
