"We started about a week ago," Price said. "It feels good to get back out there. I had been working on my blocking and my communication skills. Also, I wanted to become more of a leader."
While North Marion has only been on the field for a week there have been teams coming by Price's school for weeks. He couldn't think of all of the schools that have been there, but he had a good list.
"I saw Florida State, South Carolina, Duke, Miami, Nebraska, Tennessee, USF, Florida and there are others. I just can't think of them all. They were coming in even before our spring practices started."
Price is holding a ton of offers, but already says that three schools are standing out to him. He says that he is looking for a school and a team that pushes you to be successful.
"I have over 30 offers now. I do have a few schools standing out right now. They are Miami, USF and possibly Florida State. I am looking for a school that has a good graduation rate, a place that offers a good education and good football at the same time.
"I am looking for a school where I fit in with the environment. I am looking for a team that is a family and a place where they push you to be successful."
Those top three for Price are very close geographically than all of his other offers. Price maintains though that distance will not play into his decision. "No, not at all. As long as a school shows me a lot of love I am going to show interest in return."
Price has already made it out to see a few schools this spring. He says that there are some plans to make some camps and some combines. He will be in Dallas later this summer for a tournament as well.
"I went to Alabama three weeks ago, Florida's spring game and I went to Miami back in March. I am going to go to some combines and camps. I have a tournament in seven on seven in Dallas that I have to go to in July."
The Huskers are a team that has stepped up and offered Price. Price says that the offer surprised him and that he likes that he has heard about their fans on game day in Lincoln.
"I got the offer from Nebraska about two months ago. That was a pretty good offer. It surprised me. It was a privilege to get that offer. I like their fans and their dedication. This summer I will probably visit Nebraska. I want to take an official visit there."
The Huskers are really recruiting Price to play wide receiver. Price said that there are schools that have told him that and it doesn't matter to him which position a team wants him to play between receiver and tight end.
"Nebraska likes me as a big, X receiver. They aren't the only one; a couple of other schools said the same thing. I can play either receiver or tight end. I am athletic enough and I don't have a problem competing."
