"I won't hear back from them until Friday," Williams said. "They told me the end of the week when I was up there last weekend. I will be looking for them to get a hold of me on Friday."
While Williams was in Lincoln he was getting calls from Arkansas and Miami about taking another visit to see them before deciding. When Williams was leaving Lincoln he was thinking about those trips. He's thinking differently now.
"I didn't really want to take anymore visits. I am not going to visit anymore. I just want to make my decision this week. If I were to visit it would be next week or next weekend and then I graduate and I would be going home."
Williams was a non-qualifier out of high school and really wasn't highly recruited because he played quarterback on offense. Things couldn't be anymore different when you talk about Terrell Mitchell though when it comes to being recruited.
Out of high school Mitchell was holding offers from Clemson and West Virginia before signing with Kentucky. He also failed to qualify and was placed at Georgia Military before transferring to Fort Scott.
Mitchell, just like Williams, was getting calls from a school while in Lincoln asking him to visit. Today he was supposed to be in Norman, Okla. for a visit. Williams said that those plans changed as well.
"I think that he's doing the same thing I am doing. He's just going to wait until Friday and make a decision. I hope that we both get good news on Friday."
BigRedReport.com caught up with Mitchell tonight as well and he verified that he was waiting word to come back from Nebraska about an offer on Friday.
