Morris Picks Up First Offer

Allen high school (TX) quarterback Alec Morris had received his first offer, and it's from a ACC school. Which one? Come inside to find out.

After throwing for nearly 2600 yards and 23 touchdowns in his first year starting for Allen high school (TX), Alec Morris has picked up an offer. Morris' father reported the offer to Scout.com on Tuesday night.

"He got offered by Wake Forest, just wanted to let you know," said Mike Morris.

Also recruiting Morris is Arkansas, SMU, Michigan State, Texas Tech, Utah, Kansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma State, and a few smaller schools

Morris received a positive endorsement from Scout.com Director of Scouting Scott Kennedy last month at the Fort Worth Elite 11.

"Physically speaking, I thought the best prospect in attendance was Morris," Kennedy explained. "He has good size with good height and a thick upper body. He had the strongest arm at the camp without having to muscle up on a ball to generate a lot of velocity. He showed good touch on his short out routes but will need to throttle down on the intermediate routes as he was over throwing at times. But the ball just explodes off of his hand."
