It turns out Omaha North wide receiver Terry Grigsby's future might not even be on offense. That is, if Nebraska likes more of what they see later this week.

The soon to be senior, who is often regarded as one of the best receivers in the state, if not the best, attended Nebraska's one day camp today.

After a good showing on offense, where he caught a self reported seven balls during 1-on-1s, Grigsby had a talk with the Huskers' coaching staff.

"The defensive backs coach (Corey Raymond), liked my size and speed. He took me over with the DBs and I started to work out with them," said Grigsby. "They really liked me. We went to 1-on-1s and I was guarding the best receivers. I had two interceptions.

"Both Carl and Bo Pelini was really watching me. I leanred some new techniques out there. I had no clue at times what I was doing. I had no clue the switch would happen."

Grigsby most have impressed the coaching staff enough, because they want to see more.

"Both Bo and Carl Pelini said they really like me and invited me to come back Friday," said Grigsby, who ran a 4.55 forty after a four hour session today. "I just got off the phone with Coach Martin, who's at Texas A&M helping with their camp. I also talked to my DBs coach tonight. We're having a morning and evening session tomorrow to touch base on some minor things that I was missing in my game today defensively."

"I feel like an offer could be coming. I think it all determines how well I do on my ACT this Saturday."

Big Red Report will have more with Terry Grigsby on Saturday night.
