Another offer for Ott

Things are picking up for Drew Ott. Following a one-day camp in Lincoln for the Husker football camp he actually called the Iowa coaches and received a verbal offer from them. After the one-day camp at Nebraska he was heading to Kansas State. Following that camp Ott actually pulled in his second offer. What's next for Ott?

Drew Ott is definitely on the rise. The TE/DE prospect from Giltner (Nebr.) has been to two camps and after those camps has received two offers albeit one of those schools is not where he camped, yet.

"I received the offer from Iowa after the Nebraska camp," Ott said. "They called my coach and my coach called me to talk to them. I was in Lincoln for one day of the first session.

"I got back the other day from doing one day at the Kansas State camp. I did get an offer from Kansas State as well. I thought that I have worked out well at both camps."

Ott has some upside. He has worked out on both offense and defense at the Nebraska and the Kansas State camps. Iowa's offer seems more for defense while Kansas State might be leaving it a little more open.

"I believe that Iowa is defensive end. That is what they have told me. I will be there Friday for camp. Kansas State said they weren't sure if they liked me better on offense or defense."

Ott might not be done with camps quite yet. He said depending on how camp goes this Friday at Iowa he might be taking a couple of other trips.

"I am not sure yet. I want to go to Iowa and see how it goes. I might go to Wisconsin and Notre Dame."
