Change of plans

The Nebraska class already has one linebacker and there is probably only room for one more. One linebacker who has been said to be favoring Nebraska was supposed to make it in this weekend for an unofficial visit. Was this linebacker able to make it to Lincoln or not?

Joe Robinson from Temecula (Calif.) Chapparal was supposed to make a trip to Nebraska this weekend. There were some problems with the plans though and he said that he had to postpone.

"No, there was a misunderstanding with my Nebraska visit," Robinson said. "My dad made the visit plans for Nebraska and it just wasn't going to work out this weekend."

The miscommunication is a temporary setback. Robinson still wants to get to see Nebraska soon. In fact, he says that he would like to make it to see Nebraska before the end of the month.

"I am still planning on taking an unofficial visit to Nebraska before the summer is over. I still want to make it up there for a July visit so I would say one of the next two weekends I will be there."

When Robinson gets to Lincoln he says that one of the things he wants to do is get to know the coaches a little better. He said that he would also like to see the Nebraska facilities.

"I really just want to get to know all of the coaches a little more. I want to see how we communicate when I am there and also see their facilities."

Michael Rose is already on-board for the class of 2012 and according to Robinson the Nebraska staff has told him that there will only be one more linebacker taken. "They said two. I know that they already have one."
