Lockdown CB will visit Nebraska

Things are about to pick up for recruitniks with the return of the season. The Huskers open up the 2012 campaign with two home stands and in week four host Washington. But, it's the second weekend in October that seems to be attracting the most attention; the Buckeyes from Ohio State come calling. Tyreece Jiles has been eyeing it for a while and seems to be ready to set it up.

The football season is around the corner and Cape Coral (Flor.) is going all out. According to Tyreece Jiles since he and his got back on the field they haven't slowed down and don't plan to either.

"It feels good to be back out there," Jiles said. "I believe that we should beat everyone on our schedule this year so we are expecting a lot out of ourselves. It's my senior year and everyone wants it bad."

The expectations are so high for Jiles and Cape Coral mostly because of last season. "We finished at 11-2. There are four rounds in our class for playoffs and we got knocked out in the second round."

Jiles was highly touted player last year as a junior. Jiles is a natural on the field, but still even to him there were things that he knew that he could be better at.

"It was my conditioning mostly. I have to be able to go on both sides of the ball this year and I wanted to improve my footwork on both offense and defense. I went to a bunch of school camps and seven on seven."

Recruiting has been a constant for Jiles. While college coaches haven't been able to call Jiles he has been active making the calls and is close to setting up some official visits.

"I am really considering setting up some official visits to some schools outside of the state. I am looking at Nebraska, South Carolina, Purdue, Vanderbilt and schools like that."

Jiles has supposedly been close to setting up an official visit along with Jordan Diggs to see Nebraska for Ohio State weekend. "We should be setting that one up by the end of the month. That will be set up soon."

There are things that Jiles has heard about Nebraska that he says you can't totally understand. He says that you have to get there to see it to really begin to believe it.

"You just hear so much about it. I want to get out there to meet the coaches, see the facilities, experience the environment and you just hear all these good things about it. I want to check it out for myself."
