Memorial vs. Stratford
Headliner: Stratford is perennially a strong team and with a new D1 level prospect under the center in Jeremiah Briscoe it will be interesting to see how the offense comes together. The defense should be loaded.
Keller Central v. Newman Smith
Headliner: Newman Smith continues to get stronger and stronger, but it will be a tough road task to take out Central, a team which will feature two D1 players in Zack Sanchez and Simon Goines.
Coppell v. Mesquite Horn
Headliner: Both of these teams advanced deep in to the playoffs last season, making this one of the more interesting match-ups of zero week. Both teams will have to reload on the offensive side of the ball. OU commit DeVante Harris will go both ways.
Rosenberg Terry v. La Marque
Headliner: La Marque returns many of the horses that landed them in the title game last season and should only be stronger, but Terry boasts a loaded 2013 class. The best athlete on the field could be Terry's 6'7 WR monster Derrick Griffin.
Richardson Pearce v. Lake Dallas
Headliner: Another solid zero week clash. Pearce has what many consider the fastest player in Texas in Baylor commit Corey Coleman, but Lake Dallas has talent all over the place. Who will com out on top?
Cedar Park v. Westwood
Headliner: In Austin it is a wide open year, but Cedar Park could be the crème de la crème. A strong unit up front led by Felix Romero should open up gaping holes once again.
Cibolo Steele v. SA Madison
Headliner: Malcolm Brown is no longer on the field, but QB Tommy Armstrong is still the heart and soul of the offense. This clash was one of the most watched and talked about games in Texas one year ago.
Tyler Lee v. Euless Trinity
Headliner: Trinity was ranked as the top team in the country for most of the 2010 season, but has a lot to replace in 2011, but Hiva Lutui will still be a force on the OL. Tyler Lee should boast a strong running game.
Klein Collins vs. Richmond Travis
Headliner: Klein Collins has an absolute stacked defensive backfield and they should be able to slow down a high profile offensive attack. If ATH Shane Rhodes gets loose in the open field he can score in an instant.
Cedar Hill v. Allen
Headliner: Alright, you try to pick a headliner from this monumental tilt. Allen is considered by many as the best team in the state and some say the nation, but do not go to sleep on Cedar Hill, who could be considered as a sleeping giant. Upset alert?
Everman v. Highland Park
Headliner: The Everman defense led by Missouri commit Torey Boozer has the tough task of trying to slow down the Highland Park offense… Good luck. HP QB Brady Burgin will be flinging the ball all over the field.
