HDVideo: Daimion Stafford UTC Post

Junior college transfer Daimion Stafford isn't a freshman. He's a little older and a little more mature. But, he still had not played in front of 85,000 fans ever before. The junior safety talked about his excitement level after Saturday night's game.

Remember to watch in HD, change the 360 to 720p

Stafford might not have gotten the start, but it didn't take him long to make an impact.

On his first play in the second quarter, Stafford made a tackle on a short dump pass to a wide receiver.

But it was a little bit later in the quarter when he brought the fans to their feet. On an a sweep to the outside, Stafford laid a huge hit on the running back.

I have some advice, go Youtube it. It's out there.

"I think Daimion played really well. He's a physical guy. He's an excellent tackler and he's someone that I think is right in there," said Nebraska head coach Bo Pelini. "He's playing pretty good football, and I think he's only going to continue to get better as he continues to get more repetitions and gets more comfortable in the defense."
