Change of plans with Nebraska visit

The light official visitor weekend for Nebraska is going to get lighter. Going into this week the Huskers were only scheduled to host a couple of official visitors. This morning, one of those visitors said that he has had to change his plans and will now be coming to visit Nebraska at a later date. When will he finally get to see Lincoln?

Going into this week there were only two official visitors that were set up to be in Lincoln; Evan Goodman and Brandon Beaver. You can scratch Beaver from the list.

"Yes sir I had to cancel," Beaver said in a text message conversation with Big Red Report. "I actually rescheduled it to October 7th for the Ohio State game."

Beaver said that there are a number of reasons why the weekend in October is a better choice for him to come out to Lincoln.

"That is my bye week and it's a bigger game for Nebraska for one. My dad is also coming with me and that is good for everyone.

"It helps out with the ticket prices that we have been looking at and also not having to give his boss such short notice about needing off. He's going with me on all of my visits."

Along with the bye weekend, Beaver said that the chance to get to Nebraska on Friday and spend a little more time was part of the decision as well. "That was big in this decision. We wanted some more time there."
