Rose says no thanks

On Wednesday night, Nebraska verbal commitment Michael Rose picked up an offer from Ohio State. In the same night, he told them - no thanks.

Michael Rose was the Huskers first commitment in the 2012 class. Since midway through the summer, he's been one of Nebraska's biggest recruiters, calling and Facebooking undecided prospects.

On Wednesday night, he showed his commitment was even stronger.

Rose's Twitter page: "Just got offered by Ohio State turned em down in cold blood #GBR!!!!!"

Immediately BRR followed up with Rose to see how it happened.

"Coach Mike Vrabel called and offered," said Rose who told the new Ohio State assistant immediately no thanks. "He said it was fine and he figured that because I had been committed to Nebraska for such a long time."

Rose reports he will be in Lincoln on his official visit next week for the Ohio State game.
