Nebraska coaches at E. Arizona

Bo Pelini said during his press teleconference that he was in Arizona yesterday. The Nebraska head coach has been hitting the road with the off week this weekend. Nebraska recently offered Mohammed Seisay from Thatcher (Ariz.) Eastern Arizona College a couple of weeks ago, but a new offer was extended to another EAC Gila Monster the other day.

Coach Chenelle Jones from Thatcher (Ariz.) Eastern Arizona College confirmed that the Nebraska coaches were in town yesterday. He also verified that two EAC Gila Monster cornerbacks were now holding Nebraska offers.

"The Nebraska coaches were here yesterday," Coach Chenelle Jones said. "It was Bo Pelini and Corey Raymond. They were there to see Mohammed Seisay, who they offered a couple of weeks ago, and they offered Travell Dixon as well."

Both Seisay and Dixon have some height and immediately some might think that they are playing out of position and will move to safety in DI. Jones said that isn't the case and these are two future, Sunday cornerbacks.

"They are both cornerbacks. They are both Sunday guys eventually. We were lucky to get them both. Usually you have a 6-foot-2 cornerback and the other guy is 5-foot-9. They walk through the door together and they are the same height.

"Seisay is 6-foot-2 and 205-pounds and Dixon is 6-foot-2 and 202-pounds. Seisay has six interceptions this year and Dixon has four. Seisay has returned two for touchdowns. You are talking about two, 4.4-40 guys too."

Coach Jones verified that Nebraska will be hosting Seisay in early November for an official visit. However, Dixon will not be able to make it in that same weekend because he will be on a visit to see an SEC team that same day.

"Mo is going up to Nebraska on November 5th for the Northwestern game. Travell will have to visit Nebraska another weekend because he will be visiting Alabama for the LSU game that weekend."

There is a pretty impressive list of offers for Dixon already on the table and the list for Seisay is growing every day it seems. The Huskers could be in a position to host both of the cornerbacks, just not on the same weekend.

"Travell has offers from Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, California, Florida State, Arizona State, North Carolina and now Nebraska. Those are the BCS offers.

"Seisay is holding an offer from Indiana, Kansas State, Nebraska, North Carolina and Oregon State. They are both set to graduate from here in December."
