Lambert set to see Nebraska

A highly desirable weekend by official visitors and Nebraska has turned into quite a chore given the 11:00 CST start time and where some of these visitors are coming from. Quanzell Lambert has a game on Friday night, but is still going to travel out on Saturday morning to get to Lincoln. Will he be in Lincoln to see the Tunnel Walk?

Nebraska is still hosting four visitors this weekend and possibly a fifth. One of those visitors is Quanzell Lambert. Erial (N.J.) Timber Creek has a game on Friday night leaving Lambert to have to fly out early on Saturday.

"Yes I am going," Lambert said. "I can't travel on Friday. I am going to probably be just a little bit late getting to the game and that's about it. I fly out at 6:00 in the morning."

One of the more interesting things that a recruit gets to do in Lincoln are the pre-game traditions. One of those traditions, the tunnel walk, is an experience that recruits typically mention first about their weekend in Lincoln.

"I know about the tunnel walk and we are hoping that I can get there in time. It's going to be pretty close from when my flight gets there to getting to the game."

Lambert said that his team is doing well and that he's had a good senior season. They are undefeated so far going into the last two games of the season in the coming weeks.

"Our season is going great. We are 6-0 with two more regular season games to go. I think that the playoffs start up the week right after that."
