Anderson sets up official visit to Nebraska

The latest Nebraska commitment committed to Nebraska sight unseen. When he got the offer from Nebraska though it was a lot of people and friends back home in Philadelphia that filled Zaire Anderson in about Nebraska while recent success for junior college transfers in Lincoln also influenced his decision. He's set to see Lincoln now, later next month.

Zaire Anderson is finally going to see Nebraska. It's going to be a big game too; one the Husker fans are surely going to be ready for. Anderson says that he will be in Lincoln for the day after Thanksgiving.

"I just set it up yesterday," Anderson said. "I am going to try and get to Nebraska the Friday after Thanksgiving for the Iowa game. I am going to talk to my coach about making the trip with me if he can."

Sometimes an offer or a commitment for a player puts a player on the recruiting map and that seems to be the case to some extent with Anderson. Since committing to Nebraska he's picked up a new offer and is getting a lot of new interest.

"Yeah, there is some new interest for me since I committed to Nebraska. Kentucky came in and offered me. Ole Miss asked me to call them because they were interested. I also got a friend request from a coach at Mississippi State today too."

Riverside is undefeated and Anderson is a big reason why. There is a big test this weekend coming against a nationally rated team for Anderson and Riverside to get ready to face.

"The season is still going great. We have a big game this weekend against Santa Ana, but we just won 44-13 over Golden West. I have 53 total tackles and we are 7-0"
