South Region commitments

The month of November has been busy with 20 recruits already announcing their college decision.


Alabama

Brandon Hill (6-6, 350), three-star offensive tackle from Collierville-St. George's, Tenn., pulled the trigger for the Tide. Other scholrship offers coming from Georgia, Kentucky, Memphis, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Southern Miss and Tennessee.

Arkansas

Jonathan Williams (5-11, 205), four-star running back from Allen, Texas, switched his commitment from Missouri to the Razorbacks. Williams was instrumental in the 30-17 win against Keller Central this past week where he had 188 yards rushing and will advance to the next round to play Euless on Saturday at Cowboys Stadium at 2:00 p.m.

Florida State

Maquedius Bain (6-4, 265), defensive tackle from Ft. Lauderdale-University School, Fla., committed to the Seminoles in the class of 2013. Other scholarship offers from Wake Forest and Wisconsin.

Georgia

Faton Bauta (6-3, 200), three-star quarterback from Palm Beach Gardens-Dwyer, Fla. to the Bulldogs. Other scholarship offers from Alabama, Boston College, Kentucky, Maryland, Vanderbilt, and West Virginia.

Miami

Danny Dillard (6-2, 200), three-star running back from Venice, Fla., committed to the Hurricanes. Other offers from Boston College, Georgia Tech, Illnois, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Purdue and Western Kentucky.

Ricquan Southward (6-1, 190) wide receiver from Lakeland, Fla., also committed. Other offers from Ole Miss and Ohio State.

Rayshawn Jenkins (6-1, 190), three-star safety from St Petersburg, Fla., originally committed to USF before switching to Miami. Jenkins still plans to visit Cincinnati and Wake Forest.

Mississippi State

Dylan Holley (6-3, 205), juco offensive guard from Mississippi Gulf Coast in Perkinston, announced for the Bulldogs.

North Carolina

Joseph Jackson (6-1, 200), three-star outside linebacker from Jacksonville-First Coast, Fla., originally committed to West Virginia switching to the Tar Heels. Other offers from Auburn, Georgia Tech, Miami, Ole Miss, South Carolina, South Florida, UCF, West Virginia.

Tennessee

Daniel Gray (5-11, 175), three-star cornerback from Lauderdale Lakes-Boyd Anderson, Fla., originally committed to Kansas. Other scholarship offers coming from Florida International, Kansas and Ole Miss.

Vanderbilt

Andrew Jelks (6-6, 260), three-star offensive tackle from Paris-Henry County, Tenn., chose the Commodores during the weekend. Other scholarship offers from Alabama, Arkansas State, Cincinnati, Duke, Kentucky, Louisville, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Missouri, Stanford, Tennessee and Wake Forest.

Other commitments

Braelon Roberts (6-5, 185), wide receiver from Dallas-Bishop Dunne, Texas, to Arkansas State.

Jordan Davis (6-1, 193), safety from Tampa-Alonso, Fla., to Florida International.

Joe Lockley (6-1, 290), defensive tackle from Portal, Ga., to Georgia Southern.

Artravious James (6-4, 175), wide receiver from College Park-Banneker, Ga., to UT-Chattanooga.

Leaving the region

Daniel Braverman (5-10, 170), wide receiver from Ft. Lauderdale-University School, Fla., to Western Michigan.

Neal Burcham (6-3, 180), quarterback from Greenbriar, Ark., to SMU.

Dontavious Heard (6-1, 175), wide receiver from Lithonia-King, Ga., to Utah State.

Reggie Love (6-2, 197), wide receiver from Boca Raton-Spanish River, Fla., to Wisconsin.

Ezra Robinson (6-0, 170) three-star cornerback from Sarasota-Booker, Fla., to Michigan State.
