Huskers Offer Wisconsin D-End

Oak Creek, Wisconsin defensive end Rhyan Anderson is a national "Hot 100" candidate. Nebraska has offered a scholarship. Did the Huskers make Anderson's list of favorites?

"Right now I have offers from Nebraska, Oklahoma, Miami, Wisconsin and Iowa," said defensive end Rhyan Anderson.

"Those schools are my favorites and I'd throw Ohio State and USC in there as well but they haven't offered yet.

"I don't have a leader. I read on the internet that I favored Miami but I was quoted wrong. I told the reporter that I liked the Miami Dolphins and I guess he thought I meant the Hurricanes."

Anderson, a 6-foot-6, 265-pounder, from Oak Creek, Wisconsin is one of the top prospects in the Midwest.

Anderson had 64 solo tackles, 27 assisted tackles, 33 tackles for loss and 21 sacks as a junior. He was named 2nd team all-state.

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel has Anderson ranked as the #1 junior prospect in the state of Wisconsin.

Rhyan Anderson will be a Midwest "Hot 100" prospect and he will be given consideration for National "Hot 100" honors as well.
