Podcast: Newest commitment speaks

The California linebacker talks about his commitment to Nebraska on 93.7 FM The Ticket.

Junipero Serra linebacker Thomas Brown has had an interesting week.

First it was his commitment to Arizona State. Then after a few hectic hours in Phoenix, where June Jones was not named the head coach, Brown hosted Nebraska wide receiver coach Rich Fisher for an in-home visit. It was then when he changed his commitment to Nebraska, something that appears to solid.

"Thomas Brown has a huge upside. He's got tremendous speed and can go from sideline to sideline, he can even run the ball," said Serra head coach Scott Altenberg. "We gave him the ball from time to time, his best football is ahead of him. Nebraska is getting a guy who is going to make a lot of plays for them down the line. His future is very bright."

Brown had offers from Arizona State, San Jose State, SMU, Colorado, and Utah before choosing the Huskers.

On Friday, appearing on local radio, Thomas Brown talked with Big Red Report's Josh Harvey and the Ticket's Tom Stephens about his last few days.
