OLB.) Torshiro Davis: 6-foot-3, 210 pounds
Woodlawn HS (LA)
A soft verbal commitment to LSU, Davis has scheduled a trip to Nebraska this weekend. Anytime the coaching staff can get a player, let alone a 4-star talent, on campus, it's a great thing. Nebraska's facilities are some of the best in the country.
QB.) Tommy Armstrong: 6-foot-1, 205 pounds
The 4-star quarterback has a chance to end his career on a high note, with his second straight Texas 5A Division II State Championship. Armstrong is currently on a 27 game winning streak. It seems that every week he advances, the attention surrounding him grows larger. On Saturday, all the Nebraska coaching staff will be on hand to watch Armstrong at Cowboys Stadium in Texas.
OT.) Andrus Peat: 6-foot-7, 305 pounds
Corona Del Sol (AZ)
Peat narrowed his list to four schools yesterday and Nebraska made the cut. It's no surprise, with his brother Todd already on campus. BRR has projected the Huskers will be one of Peat's finalist for a while and it appears that it's going to be the case.
WR.) Jordan Westerkamp: 6-foot-1, 190 pounds
Montini Catholic (Illinois)
A commitment since May, Westerkamp is in the process of setting up a visit to Notre Dame this weekend – a blindsided shock to Husker fans. At this point, BRR doesn't really read too much into the visit, but he's still visiting, meaning he's not 100 percent at the moment.
CB.) A.J. Leggett: 5-foot-11, 175 pounds
South Miami Senior (FL)
Leggett was supposed to be in Lincoln this weekend, but has rescheduled to later in the year. Some would say that it's better to host a recruit later in the process, with the visit fresher on the player's mind, but getting him to campus is a must.
OT.) Ronnie Stanley: 6-foot-6, 285 pounds
Bishop Gorman (NV)
Rumors are circulating that Stanley has committed to Notre Dame or that he's a silent commitment. The Huskers are in his final three, with a final decision coming soon, but it appears that Nebraska is behind the Irish.
CB.) Marcus Rios: 6-foot-0, 170 pounds
Cosumnes Oaks (CA)
The 4-star cornerback has run into a small academic situation when it comes to enrolling at Nebraska, but he's also missing a class for enrollment at Notre Dame – the other school considered high on his list of suitors.
