Raymond Ford from Gardena (Calif.) Junipero Serra is on his way back home from Nebraska. He might be getting out just in time before some bad weather comes in.
"I'm on my layover right now in Denver," Ford said. "It's cold. It's snowing. It's real cold out here."
Ford got into Lincoln on Friday, but it was a little later than the other visitors. He said that he was really only able to hit the players' banquet and spend some time with his host.
"I got to Lincoln on Friday in the afternoon. I went to the players' banquet, got something to eat and had a chance to hang out with my host, Ameer Abdullah."
On Saturday there was a lot more time to see what he came to see in Lincoln. Ford said that he got a campus tour, saw the town, hung out with his host and went to the basketball game that night.
"I went on the campus tour on Saturday and got to see downtown Lincoln. I also went bowling with the players and ate. I also went to the basketball game that night."
This morning Ford was able to do some more team related activities like talking to the coaches and also got a chance to see a practice. After that he was headed to catch his flight.
"On Sunday we ate breakfast and I saw some of their practice before I left. I also got a chance to talk with some of the coaches on Sunday."
The visit got a perfect score from Ford who is right now re-evaluating his options after being committed to UCLA who recently replaced their head coach. Ford says he plans on talking with team mate and Nebraska commitment Thomas Brown about the trip.
"It was a great visit, I would give it a "10". Everything was perfect on the trip. I am going to go back and talk to Thomas about the trip."
Ford isn't sure what is next. He needs to talk to his family about the next step, but he knows that he doesn't have any other trips set up right now. He is getting a lot of schools approaching him though about taking some more trips.
"I am not for sure right now. I need to go home and talk to my dad about that. I don't know when I will make my final decision. I don't have any other visits set up right now, but the whole PAC 12 and SMU are talking to me."
