Top Texas Uncommitted: DL

Sure many are off the board, but there are a few top defensive linemen that have yet to make their college commitments. has put together a quick list of a couple guys who have yet to make that call. Please note, this list is only guys who are uncommitted, not "soft" verbal guys…

DE Javonte Magee – 6-6, 273 (Sam Houston, San Antonio)
Down to his final three, the All-American defender is looking to make his final decision on National Signing Day. Baylor, Texas A&M and Missouri have made the cut. Magee said that he is looking to "feel" and "fit" into the right program. Fans from these three programs will surely be waiting.

DT Aaron Curry – 6-3, 272 (Fossil Ridge, Keller)
Curry has made the rounds (Boise State, Iowa, Missouri), but has not made the final call and therefore is available. One could even mention that TCU is a favorite as well. But in late December, Curry stated that he plans to make a visit to Nebraska, a team that somewhat came out of nowhere. It's all good to Curry. So where will he end up?

DE Polo Manukainiu – 6-6, 255 (Trinity, Euless)
It was early December when Manukainiu and Oklahoma went their separate ways after being committed for somewhat a short period of time. Now Baylor, Texas A&M, Utah Nebraska and UCLA are up for consideration.

DE Will Hopkins – 6-7, 230 (Bowie, Austin)
The rangy end Hopkins has a couple of offers with Colorado State, SMU and Wyoming (a program he is visiting this month). Hopkins has opted out of playing on the hardwood this year so that he can focus on weight training for the college level.

More available at this position…
DE Brian Madunezim – 6-4, 230 (Nimitz, Houston)
DE Isaiah Carter – 6-2, 215 (Madison, San Antonio)
DT Demonte Hood – 6-0, 295 (Bowie, Arlington)
