Gartner making JR Day plans

It's never too early to start looking ahead and junior days for some schools are literally weeks away. One of the top juniors in the state of Nebraska has been invited to his first junior day and will be making a return trip to Stillwater, Okla. to see Oklahoma State in January. Has he heard about a Nebraska Junior Day yet?

Dillon Gartner will arguably be the top junior in the state of Nebraska next year. The 6-foot-4 and 290-pound offensive lineman from Gothenburg (Nebr.) reached out to to state that he was attending an upcoming junior day.

"I got the invite junior day at Oklahoma State," Gartner said. "The junior day at Oklahoma State is January 27th."

Gartner is not a stranger to Stillwater. He and his family stopped in to see Oklahoma State on his way to camp at TCU this past summer. Gartner continued that he hasn't heard anything about a junior day at Lincoln yet.

"I haven't heard anything about any junior days at Nebraska. I think that they are a couple of months later."

Gartner said that over the past year or so that he had been receiving interest from Oklahoma State, Nebraska, Michigan, Wisconsin, Oregon, Alabama, Missouri, USC, UCLA, Iowa, Iowa State and Arizona State.
