Wilkerson to see Nebraska

Nebraska has been looking for a tight end prospect for the class of 2012 and they have set their sights on Brent Wilkerson of Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha. The Washington Post is reporting that Wilkerson will take an official visit to Nebraska this coming weekend.

Brent Wilkerson is a new name for Nebraska fans to know, but the 6-foot-4 and 245-pound tight end from Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha is well known around the recruiting world. Wilkerson has been a commitment to Penn State since March, but it appears that he will take a trip or two.

According to a Washington Post article by Josh Barr who spoke with DeMatha coach, Elijah Brooks, the standout tight end will trip to Lincoln this weekend. "He's open to recruitment," Coach Brooks told Josh Barr.

"He's still undecided. He's going to take a visit to Nebraska this weekend. They stayed in contact and Nebraska is a place that interests him. He's still weighing his options, but he's going to see what Nebraska has to offer."
