Walking on at Nebraska

Some of the more compelling stories this time of your you will find for Nebraska will be the players that commit to walk-on at Nebraska. Most, if not all, have a chance to get some sort of financial scholarship to others schools, but the opportunity to head to Lincoln to be a Husker is just too much. Nebraska just got this in-state product to walk-on...

In an email this morning from Bob Dzuris, the father of Plattsmouth (Nebr.) defensive end/tight end standout Ross Dzuris, confirmed that his son has decided to walk-on at Nebraska.

"Just a note to let you know that Ross has turned down his FCS scholarship offers to walk-on at Nebraska," Bob Dzuris said. "The (Nebraska) coaches have reserved a spot for him."

Dzuris was actually offered the walk-on spot this summer following his summer camp at Nebraska. Dzuris worked out at both tight end and defensive end.

BigRedReport.com will catch up with Ross to discuss his decision to walk-on at Nebraska.
