After visit to Lincoln, Cross down to two

Georgia 3-star running back Imani Cross has narrowed his finalists down to two: Nebraska or Kentucky. Come inside as he talks about his recent trip to Lincoln.

An excited, but very tired Imani Cross is back in Georgia, fresh off an official visit to Nebraska this weekend.

While Big Red Report tried to respect Cross and let the senior rest, he did give us a few quotes about his visit to Lincoln.

"I thought it was a great visit and it was everything I expected and more," said Cross, who rated his trip a 10.

The senior has now decided after his visit, his two finalists are Nebraska and Kentucky.

"It was a great all around experience at Kentucky and Nebraska and both schools present a great place to play football. The coaching staff and players were on the same page and each school is very nice. It is going to be a tough decision," Cross told FoxSport's Chad Simmons.

Cross was hosted by current freshman running back Ameer Abdullah.

"Ameer and I talked about how Coach Ron Brown is a great man and what type of system Nebraska really runs," said the nation's No. 34 running back. "As far as my meeting with Coach Pelini, we talked about my role on the team and why he's recruiting me. We also talked about what he expects out of his players on and off the field."

Cross has already officially visited Kentucky and will make his announcement at the International Bowl in Texas on February 1st.

The 6-foot-1, 220 pound running back out of Gainesville (GA) North Hall ran for 1,798 yards and scored 24 touchdowns in 2011.
