Busy week capped off by Friday night offer

It's been a busy week for Marcos de Niza junior defensive back Priest Willis, and the news kept coming on Friday night.

A week ago, Tempe (Az.) Marcos de Niza junior defensive back Priest Willis had seven offers. He was well known on the west coast. Seven days later, he's becoming a national recruit.

"I just got offered by Virginia," said Willis on his Facebook page Friday night - taking his offer list to 11. "I can't thank God enough for this blessing."

Williams had already picked an offer from USC earlier in the day.

The 6-foot-2, 200 pound safety had 52 tackles and two interceptions as a junior in 2011.

He currently also holds offers from Nebraska, Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon State, Washington, Utah, UCLA, San Diego State, and Purdue.
