LaRue Likes Nebraska's Tradition

Wide receiver Sebastian LaRue (Santa Monica HS) has been on the receiving end of many offers lately, including a recent one from Nebraska. Despite the influx of offers coming in, LaRue still gets excited whenever he sees a new one come in.

"My reaction to being offered by Nebraska was being excited," said LaRue. "No matter how many offers I get I feel a little joy when I get another one especially when it's from a program of the caliber such as [Nebraska].

"I just feel like all my hard work is starting to pay off and this is only just the beginning," added LaRue.

The 5-foot-11 receiver knows all about Nebraska and their history, something that he definitely will consider when it comes down to the decision process.

"Nebraska is a great program. They have a great tradition and history and I like that about their program," said LaRue, who recorded 20 total touchdowns a year ago.

As for what position he will play in the college ranks, LaRue will leave that up to his coaches, "I want to play where a coach thinks I can benefit the team the most at."

So far, LaRue has received offers from Michigan, Boise State, Houston and Washington among others.
