"I went to two Missouri practices so far," Ramirez said. "I am also going to their spring game too. That is April 14th. I know it's the same weekend as Nebraska, but Nebraska didn't invite me to theirs."
Not getting an invite to the spring game in Lincoln is a little odd considering Ramirez was just there a little over a month ago for junior day. Ramirez actually said that the amount of communication he's had with Nebraska has decreased significantly since that weekend.
"They didn't send me or tell me anything about coming to their spring game. I get literally over 100 pieces of mail in a couple of days so it's difficult to go through it all.
"The only way that I have been communicating with college coaches has been over Facebook. I haven't spoken with Coach John Garrison from Nebraska in a while. Actually I haven't spoken with Nebraska since about junior day."
There are a number of invites for the four-star linebacker to come and check out other schools. He says that they range from spring practices to spring games to camps. He hasn't had a chance to really look over the dates to see if any of them work out or not.
"I have gotten some invites from some other schools to come out for spring practices, spring games and camps. I just need to sit down and evaluate them to see which ones I can go to."
Ramirez says that he is busy with track season and is also lifting weights. There are a couple of things that he's really focusing on this off-season. "I am running track right now. I am lifting weights as well. I am focusing on my getting quicker and my explosiveness."
