"We are in spring football right now and things are going pretty good," said Kemp. "Our spring game is coming up, but we have a few things we need to work on.
"I feel like if everybody stays focused and works hard we can have an even better season than we had last year.
"We have a good team and I feel like we can be even better."
The spring practice sessions have attracted several college programs who are eager to get an in person evaluation of the talented running back.
"Just about all of the schools that have offered have come by or they are coming before we finish up with spring.
"Arizona State offered me tonight. I just got done talking with them."
Despite the recent surge of offers, Kemp has held one in state program in preferred status.
"South Florida is my top school," said Kemp. "I just have a better relationship with them.
"I have been to the campus several times and I really like it over there.
"I have been able to get to know the coaches a lot better in the past few months and they treat me like family."
While Kemp remains Bullish about USF, he is not ready to pledge his college allegiance.
"I am going to take my time before I do anything," said Kemp. "I want to wait until after the season before I make my decision.
"I want to take all of my visits before I do anything."
