Quick Hitter: Kemp nabs offer

Nebraska has targeted a new Florida prospect in the 2013 class.

With the departure of sophomore Aaron Green, the running back position became a greater need for the Nebraska Cornhuskers in the 2013 class.

Last week, Bo Pelini and crew targeted a new prospect in Florida, after seeing Deland (FL) high school running back JoJo Kemp in person.

"I did get offered by them," Kemp (5-foot-11, 190 pounds) told Big Red Report. "I have heard lots of stuff about them."

Kemp, currently the No. 86 running back in the country, has a double-digit offer list including schools like: South Florida, Arizona State, Minnesota, Mississippi State, Purdue, and Western Virginia.

Last year as a junior, Kemp rushed for close to 1,500 yards for a school that made the Class 8A state playoffs.
