Another Big Red Weekend visitor?

There are some solid names already set to be in Lincoln on June 16th and Nebraska might be ready to add another one. This player was trying to get over to Lincoln for the spring game, but was unable to do so. Can Nebraska get him over to Lincoln to take a look around in June?

Give credit to the Nebraska staff when it comes up with additional ways and reasons for recruits to visit Lincoln. Simply put, when they visit they come away impressed. There are a number of players that are talking about coming in for Big Red Weekend on June 16 and the list should continue to grow.

One player that could add his name to the list is Des Moines (Iowa) Dowling tight end Jon Wisnieski. Wisnieski is 6-foot-5 and 215-pounds and has an offer from Nebraska as well as schools such as Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas State, Mississippi State and Purdue.

Wisnieski has had the offer from Nebraska for quite some time. Wisnieski was in Lincoln for their junior day and was supposed to make a return visit to Lincoln for their spring game. It turns out that return visit could happen later in June.

"Yes," Wisnieski said. "I am going to try and get to Lincoln for that (Big Red Weekend)."

Wisnieski would join players like Delton Williams, Darian Claiborne and Terrell Newby who have all confirmed that they will be in Lincoln that weekend.
