Quick Hitter: Samuelson switches pledge

The nation's No. 54 offensive tackle switches his commitment to Nebraska.

After hearing rumblings for the last 24 hours, Big Red Report can confirm Plymouth high school's (IN) Dan Samuelson is a Husker. His father confirmed the news to Big Red Report on Tuesday afternoon.

"He's a farm kid," Plymouth head coach John Barron told Fox Sports earlier this month. "He didn't grow up on a farm, but he grew up in a small town; he's lived out in a farm area his whole life. He's a big country boy. We like to run the football...He's 6-foot-5, 290 pounds. He's very athletic. He's lean. He's not a fat kid."

Samuelson is currently a three-star prospect and the No. 54 OT tackle in the country according to Scout.com and Fox Sports Next.

Big Red Report will have more with Samuelson later tonight.
