Clark to visit Nebraska

The Nebraska staff is really pushing hard on the recruiting trail and it's paying off. Nebraska only had one commitment at this same time last year and Nebraska is now sitting on eight commits with a number of other recruits talking about visiting Nebraska and favoring Nebraska. This California DT says that he is visiting Nebraska this June now too.

The weekend of June 16 is becoming a huge weekend for Nebraska. The large majority of committed players in the 2012-13 class will be in town that weekend as well as some very highly recruited and touted uncommitted prospects.

The list of recruits that aren't currently committed anywhere included such players as Delton Williams, Darian Claiborne, Terrell Newby, Jon Wisnieski and Zach Hannon. You can add defensive tackle Kenneth Clark from Rialto (Calif.) Carter to the list.

"Yes I am visiting Nebraska in June," Clark said. "I will be there June 16th. I am also visiting Washington that month."

Clark is rated a four-star recruit by Scout.com and is listed as the No. 19 defensive tackle in the nation. Clark is also holding offers from Oregon, UCLA, Miami, Washington and Washington State among others.
