Lincoln, NE - Fresh off a state championship in the Nebraska Class A hurdles (14.53), Josh Banderas is trying to pack on the weight again.

"I had to slim down a little bit to get over the hurdles," said Banderas, who is currently weighing . "I'm going to start really early in the morning. We have running at 9 and lifting at 10. I will lift with my teammates."

In addition to putting on the pounds, Banderas will go into full Nebraska recruiting mode. The soon to be senior was already crucial during the Red-White Spring Game and Christian LaCourture's visit, but plans to be in attendance for the "Big Red Weekend."

"I'm really pumped. I will get to know the guys who are committed," said Banderas. "Hopefully we get some new commitments before the weekend is over."
