Gladney set to visit

Big Red Weekend is going to keep recruiting guys and Nebraska fans that follow recruiting interested and on their toes over the next week and a half. The visitors will start early though with this speedster from Ohio making it in the week of Big Red Weekend, but technically before the festivities kick off.

There will be a double-digit visitor total next Saturday in Lincoln for Big Red Weekend, but before fast forwarding to next week there will be a significant visitor earlier in the week. Akron (Ohio) Firestone wide receiver, Kevin Gladney, says that he will be in Lincoln early next week for a trip.

"I will actually be there June 11th," Gladney said. "I think that is the date for Monday. I think that we will be in Lincoln on Monday and Tuesday and then we will turn around and drive back to Ohio after that."

Gladney is a three-star recruit and is rated as the No. 81 wide receiver in the nation. Gladney is a 6-foot-2 and 185-pound prospect holding offers from Iowa, Michigan and Michigan State to go along with Nebraska, but the Huskers might be the only school that hosts him this summer.

"I don't really have any other plans for the summer or know of any other schools that I am going to visit this summer. I know that I will visit Nebraska and that might be it for me."

Gladney told Big Red Report in a prior update that there were some things on the visit to Nebraska that he wanted to get a closer look at. "I want to get to meet the coaches and really talk to them. I want to see their facilities, the campus and also academics."
